Atlas here, an easily bored 24 years old italian dreamer who has too many interests and opinions.
I just wanted a place on the web to share everything I want in the way that I want and without overthinking it.
I'm a total newbie at coding, technically I did study computer science in high school, but I wasn't in the best place and I remember almost nothing.
I'm also NOT the most consistent person when it comes to anything honestly, so I have no idea when I'll finish this (or at least make it presentable) and I for sure won't upload with a schedule. I know myself.

I'm a self-proclaimed member of the dead poets society, an addict with a pen if you will. Poems that scream carpe diem, braindump "essays" about absolute bullshit that I write about like it's the bible, essays I actually put effort in that I modify every now and then because I can't follow my thought process after re-reading them, random phrases lost in post-its and forgotten notes on the phone "for my next short story"...
Without my written world, I wouldn't know how to fully express myself. I wouldn't fully be myself.
And that's the most important thing about me. Along that, I'm a "360 degree nerd": I watch anything from 80s sci-fi dad movies to 2000s animated tv series (I have an insane obsession with Gravity Falls and Over The Garden Wall), I read anything from classics (Yes, I am a literature major) to the latest manga series that caught my interest, I play videogames from the 90s to the present days ones but RPG maker games and metroidvanias have a special place in my heart, and if that wasn't enough, I also do play DnD and other GDRs; and I'm getting into LARP in real life. To be cringe is to be free, life's too short to not check out everything I can.
I love crafting: upcycling, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, making cosplay props... Less frequently, I do like cooking (I mean fancy cooking, not what's necessary to survive) and baking.
Random list of fun facts about me: I'm a trans man (he/him), I'm punk (at heart, style-wise I'm evidently alt but not completely "punk-looking"), I'm neurodivergent (diagnosed ADHD, I know, shocking), I'm a volunteer in a cultural association, I work in comicons (comic festivals? I have no idea how to translate it properly), I'm a big Twenty One Pilots fan (if you, reader, are a clikkie, I know you caught the local dreamer reference), and I love to hug trees.
Lately, I'm getting into photography to keep alive the memory of one of my best friends who passed away last year.
I believe I had the urge to create this blog to build something new from the pain of the loss of someone who changed my life so deeply I have yet to find the right words to describe it.
The Local Dreamer's Den will be about all of these things. About everything I love and loved, a testament of unfiltered life's joys and sorrows.
The world can be a terrifying and disgusting place, but I can't help but love the earth and humanity. I learned to be grateful to be alive and I sure as hell won't let anyone or anything take that away from me.
